Ballymackey u12A girls opened their league campaign with a 6-1 win at home to bt harps, the girls were quick out of the blocks and ahead after two minutes when Fiadh Kennedy broke through to fire home, soon after Fiadh got her second from the penalty spot, just before half time Emily coffey got Ballymackeys third when Fiadh Kennedy won the ball in the box and fed Emily to fire home. Into the second half and ballymackey kept up the pressure to make it 4-0 when Emily Coffey got her second, soon after Fiadh Kennedy got her hat trick to make it 5-0, Caoimhe Tierney rounded out the scoring with a good finish from just inside the penalty area, bt harps pulled a goal back with two minutes remaining.
