Ballymackey u13B girls opened their league campaign today with a hard fought 1-0 win at home to arra. In a repeat of last season league playoff there was nothing between the teams, ballymackey got the only goal 12 minutes in when Fiadh Kennedy put Ella grey through on goal and she calmly finished to the net. After that it was a great defensive display by the girls who worked tirelessly throughout, it was the girls first outing on the full size pitch and they gave it their all to secure the win.
