Well done to Clodagh Daly and Mollie Ryan who have both been invited to Assessments next week for the Women's U16 International Squad for the coming season. It's been a busy year for the 2 girls who played at an incredible 5 age levels for Ballymackey in 21/22, the girls turned out at U15, U16, U17, U18 and Senior for the club as well as been involved in the North Tipperary Emerging Talent program at U16, the North Munster U15 Centre of Excellence and the U15 National Academy. The girls managed to collect a lot of Silverware along the way, playing in 5 Cup finals for Ballymackey achieving a league and Cup double at U15 as well as success with our U18 and Senior sides. The girls also helped their School St Mary's Nenagh to a Munster A Schools title at U15 and were part of North Tipps U16 National Trophy Success.

Clodagh also was a key part of Munster Schools success in becoming Ireland Interprovincial Champions and the Irish Schools success in winning the Bob Docherty Cup against England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland in England.

Mollie proved if you are good enough you are old enough after been thrust into goals for our Senior Women midway through the Season. There was an immediate upturn in the team's fortune as brilliant display after brilliant display from Mollie played a big part in propelling the Ballymackey Women into 2 Finals overcoming teams from Laois, Offaly, Westmeath, Galway and Roscommon.

It is fantastic to have 2 players from the Club called for International Assessments and the 2 girls will no doubt do themselves proud at the Assessments.
