Ballymackey u13 girls welcomed Lough Derg to ballinree this morning but ended up on the wrong end of a 4-2 score line. Lough derg had the wind in the first half and went ahead inside a minute they scored two more soon after, balkymackey came more into the game as the half wore on and came close to pulling a goal back just before half time. Into the second half and ballymackey scored early on through Olivia Looby. Just when it looked like a comeback might be on Lough Derg scored a fourth. Ballymackey kept going and pulled another goal back through Charlotte Deegan with fifteen minutes left. Unfortunately Ballymackey couldn’t add to the scoring despite coming close on a few occasions. week done to Lough Derg who were the better team on the day.
