Ballymackey u14 girls travelled to Lough Derg in the league today and came away with a 6-4 victory. Ballymackey opened the scoring in the 8th minute when Mioda o shea crossed for Lexi Wynne to fire home. Lexi scored again a few minutes later with a fine drive. After that lough derg came back into it and pulled a goal back. Just before half time a a Lexi Wynne corner was turned home by Olivia Fitzpatrick. At the back Abigail Armstrong and Lisa Fitzgerald defended well through out. Into the second half and within five minutes Ballymackey had made it five first Mioda o shea scored with a fine drive and a few minutes later zofia Koloda who was making her Ballymackey debut fired home a loose ball in the box. Lough Derg never gave up and pulled another goal back. Half way through the half Aoibhin Delaney fired home from a tight angle. Lough Derg pulled 2 more goals back late on.
